You can "sprint" by holding down the Left Shift, although the game doesn't tell you that anywhere. You have to just equip the hammer and try you'll either get a "not enough resources" message or it will start the upgrade.Īfter your raft increases in size, you'll notice that your movement is incredibly slow.
RAFT SURVIVAL GAME ON TABLET UPGRADE
The game doesn't tell you what materials are needed to upgrade the raft. Your raft gets bigger and stuff gets added on to it. You don't get to choose what gets upgraded or where to put anything, it just does it automatically. When you successfully upgrade the raft, it regains full health. I used 5 in a row and my raft didn't noticeably regain health. The food cans and water replenish your hunger and thirst, but the toolkits don't seem to work, or not very well. When you open the inventory, 'usables' are food cans, bottles of water, and toolkits. It doesn't match the icons, but it seems that 1 is the hook, 2 is the hammer, and 3 is the spear. These are under "convertibles." When you have enough converted items, you can craft the hammer and the spear. You need leaves and bushes to make rope, and barrels, crates, and wood to make planks. Aim a bit in front of the object and pull in when it gets in the right place. It's harder than other raft games I've played. The mechanics of the hook take a little getting used to. When the messages come up on your screen that have the "next" prompt, hit the TAB to get past them. When you first start, you only have the hook.
